Following our very successful evening on ‘Women and the Church’ last October the theme this year is ‘Refugee(s)’.
This is an invite for new playlets which can be contemporary or historic; storylines however should ideally have some connection with the Church.
The evening will be co-produced by Robin Marchal and Michael Harrington and overseen by creative director Kenneth Michaels, who will also act as head judge on the selection panel.
Playlets should me a maximum of ten minutes long.
Playwrights, who will be responsible for casting and directing, should consider CaAPA members for roles in the first instance.
Submissions should be made to CaAPA’s coordinator Jimena at coordinator@caapa.org.uk on or before August 31st. Authors of selected playlets will be notified of the outcome by the end of September.
There will also be a ten minute talk by a member of the SVP at the end and we will have a voluntary retiring collection for that society.
